Are you the one?
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer, based in our headquarters in Madrid. You need to enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be very result-oriented.
We’re not looking for ninjas or gurus. We’re looking for experienced professionals who are excited and motivated to change things and to work in a close-knit team environment.
Key Accountability and Responsibilities
● Reporting to the QA Manager
● Designing, implementing and maintaining the QA test strategy and processes
● Evaluate, test, automate software, and verify that code functions according to user requirements and conforms to established guidelines, economically and efficiently
● Ensuring all applications are test covered, automated and qualified for production environments
● To support developers in understanding how to write more testable and robust code
● Be aware of and understand the impact to QA of any new technologies being introduced
● Working with the Solution Architect to ensure the team delivers to required quality and adheres to best practice
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies
This job is not for everyone. You’re experienced with:
● Being able of analyzing the “big picture” of a complex system
● Root cause analysis experience
● Experience in communicating with technical and non-technical teams and business owners
● Full understanding of requirements and functional specifications
● Experience in testing products where exists integrations with third parties.
● Understanding of different testing levels: unit, integration, system, acceptance testing.
● Experience in testing of JAVA applications.
● Experienced working with release procedures, test methodologies and software defect tracking tools like JIRA or Rally
● Experienced working with job queue systems, using tools like RabbitMQ
● API testing with tools like SoapUI and knowledge about scripting language
● Experience with UI Test Automation, creating automated user acceptance testing with Selenium Webdriver
● Stress and performance testing, black box, white box and usability testing in client-server, web and database environments
● Creating test artifacts: test specifications, status updates
● Experienced developing unit, integration and acceptance tests with JAVA.
● Web service and SOA architecture
● CI with Jenkins
● Experienced in working with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
● Organized person, capable of handling different tasks and effective time management
